We are a certified LIVESCAN facility and use the latest technology to accurately capture and electronically submit your fingerprints to the California Department of Justice and the Federal Bureau of Investigation for licensure, certification and /or employment purposes.

Our SurePass™ Guarantee ensures that if there is any error in capturing your fingerprints, we will re-take your prints at no additional charge.


Each LIVESCAN submission must be accompanied with the correct application form to match the certification, license or registration you are applying for. We have simplified the task of obtaining the correct form by making LIVESCAN Forms Please print out the correct application for you and bring it to us already completed to speed up your fingerprinting process.

Check The Status of Your LIVESCAN Results:

Results of your LIVESCAN should be available within 3-10 days. Since Training Resource Group only collects your fingerprint data and transmits them, we are not responsible for the result of your LIVESCAN.

When checking the status of your LIVESCAN application you should first contact the agency or employer that requested the background review. A 24-hour Automated Telephone Service is available from the Department of Justice at 916-227-4557.

When checking the status of your LIVESCAN application you will need the following information:

  • Your date of birth - AND -
  • The 10-digit Automated Transaction Identifier (ATI) number that appears at the bottom of the your Department of Justice form requesting Live Scan fingerprint background checks.
